This study Group is located in Long Beach California. The Kabbalah Study Group of Long Beach is about how to attain Freedom from Pain, Suffering and Death and is a Path to Uninterrupted Happiness, Joy and Fulfillment. It has 2 local classes a week at 2020 E 4th Street at 6:00 PM just east of Cherry Ave and across the street from the Art Theater on Spiritual Purification Tuesday through the Kabbalistic Bible, and Spiritual Purification Thursday through the study of The Zohar. We also have a daily email called daily tune-ups from the Kabbalah Center. It also has my comments and links to various kabbalistic tools that will rewire your nervous system at the quantum level of consciousness. Kabbalah is all about how to receive whatever you want. In the last analysis what we want is uninterrupted and continuous happiness, joy and fulfillment or in a word LIGHT. Aquarius (From Kabbalah4All).

The focus of this month is inner renewal. This renewal is not able to be seen yet on the surface but is beginning deep within. We are invited to look within and open ourselves to newness of life. We can learn from the trees as we celebrate Tu B'Shevat this month, which is also known as the New Year of the Trees. Though it may be winter in many parts of the world still, the sap and juices of all the trees are beginning to flow. We don't see this because it is concealed, but it is this necessary renewal within that will manifest itself through new leaves and flowers in the spring.

Eating is the area of healing this month and we are given the opportunity to think about what we are eating. Is it healthy for us? We often think about our spiritual nourishment, but what about the nourishment of the vessel of our soul? The Kabbalists taught that there are divine sparks in all created things. For this reason we should bless our food before we ingest it, not only as a thanksgiving but to also raise the sparks that are contained within. We should also look at not only the physical food we ingest, but also the relationships and activities that fill our lives. Are these healthy? What changes should we make to our diets?

This month we celebrate the holiday that, according to the Kabbalists, is the most spiritual and joyful day of the year. It is a day that we hold a special seder that will assist us in connecting to trees and their giving nature. We can learn alot from a tree for it gives and gives just like the Creator. Trees give us the air we breath and the fruits we eat, without trees we would be lost in this world. It is a good time to be thankful for the trees and celebrate them.

Why we should use kabbalistic tools in our life? We all came into our lives for a reason and a purpose. One reason we incarnated is because we asked for it. Another is we wanted to earn our own happiness, joy and fulfillment.

A few definitions are in order. Direct Light, Klipot, and Surrounding Light. Direct Light is extremely pleasurable and is like a live wire. If we touch a live wire, we shock ourselves and create a short circuit followed by darkness. This direct Light is then captured in a shell of negativity

called a Klipot or engram or reactive mind. If we push away Direct Light which we call restriction, this Direct Light now becomes our Surrounding Light which we can call our personal Light Bank account. When we make a spiritual connection we should develop a fear of losing that connection and ironically that fear should help us keep that connection.

Every time we scan and chant the tools we are restricting everything else and depositing Direct Light into our personal Surrounding Light Bank Account. To withdraw this Light all we need to do is build our vessel by caring and sharing ourselves with others and practice Love Your Neighbor As Yourself which also shrinks our Klipot and liberates that captured light and deposits it in our Surrounding Light Bank Account. It is my hope that you will now scan and chant the Torah and Zohar and tool kit more often for your own and the worlds happiness, joy and fulfillment.

When we were born, our parents fed us, bathed us, and made innumerable sacrifices on our behalf. Zohar sections that change from week to week

The Zohar is the main document that codified the oral tradition of the Kabbalah. Kabbalah is the Hebrew word that means "To Receive." Kabbalah is not a religion, it is an ancient Spiritual Science and Technology that Moses received when he was on Mount Sinai. Moses at that time was not authorized to write down the technology of Kabbalah but was authorized to pass on the teachings from teacher to disciple. From Moses we get the oral tradition of Kabbalah.
The teachings of the Zohar were given to Shimon Bar Yochai after the destruction of the second Holy Temple when Shimon Bar Yochai and his son Rev Elessar had to hide in a cave because they were wanted by the Romans for teaching Torah when the Romans outlawed such teachings. While they were hiding from the Romans, Shimon received daily visitations from Moses and Elija who for 13 years received the teachings of the Zohar.

All the Aramaic letters and words of the Zohar teach us more than just wisdom, they also connect us to The Light of The Creator and tap us into an unlimited source of Energy, Light, Love and Immortality if we receive these teachings with a willing and open mind and heart. The energy of the Zohar disconnects us from our ego and connects us to our soul and elevates our soul and helps us transform from an egoistic receiver of the self alone to a person of sharing and receiving for the sake of sharing. Just as the Rosetta Stone was the decoder ring of the Egyptian Hieroglyphics, The Zohar is the Decoder ring of the 5 Books of Moses known as The Torah.
When scanning the Zohar, make your primary purpose spiritual purification and elevation first and then second learning spiritual wisdom and understanding. Use the energy of the Zohar to propel your prayers and affirmations to a quicker manifestation. Pray for a willing and open heart and mind. Happy Scanning.
